The Vina Palaciega Gran Seleccion Malbec is hand picked from low-yield vineyards. The wine sees a prolonged period of time in oak. This wine offers a mixture of cassis, and black plum with subtle undertones of herbs and spices. the wine finishes with well-rounded yet light tannins leading to a long structured fruit-driven finish.
Staff Review:
Big and bold but very well balanced. Cherry, blackberry and plum up front followed by an oaky, pepper spice that lingers on the finish. Pair with strong cheeses, lamb or beef. A great wine at an excellent price!
