The Gaia Quoi is a natural sparkling red wine made with 100% hand-harvested Syrah grapes from 30-year-old vines. The wine is fermented in fiberglass tanks for three months and bottled unfiltered just before the fermentation is finished to finish as a pet-nat red wine in the bottle. The result is a wine with deep ruby color and aromas of red and black fruits, such as raspberries, blackberries, and cherries, with hints of spice and herbs. On the palate, the wine is fresh, lively, and effervescent, with a smooth texture and flavors of wild berries and citrus, ending with a satisfyingly dry finish. With no sulfur added, the Gaia Quoi is a pure expression of the terroir, showcasing the limestone soils of the Gaillac region, and a testament to Marine’s commitment to natural winemaking.
