100% Cabernet Sauvignon exclusively from the Farella Vineyard in the Coombsville AVA, located in the southeastern corner of Napa Valley on soils of red, gravelly loam on a base of volcanic ash. Deep purple in the glass with soaring aromas of cassis, ripe blackberry, purple flowers, lead pencil, leather and spice: classic, complex Cabernet aromas with an unmistakable Napa footprint. The palate is full-bodied but charged with a chiseled acidity and fresh fruit flavors all of which are framed by firm, mouth-coating tannins. Restrained, elegant and transparent, this is old-school, Napa Cab, proudly showing its terroir. Only 370 cases produced.
