Made with locally-sourced grains, Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey is aged for just under a year in quarter casks in a temperature-controlled barrelhouse, and was named the Craft Whisky of the Year by Whisky Advocate in December 2015.
Made from 80% rye, 15% malted barley, and 5% malted barley, in the old Monongahela style that made the state famous.
Staff Review:
This local Pennsylvania whiskey uses only rye grains to give a spicy but smooth flavor from beginning to end. The 6 months in oak give this a rich texture. -George
