Medium-bodied, dry, sparkling. With a seductive pink color and a nose of ripe red berries, this rosé displays a classically dry palate of raspberry, strawberry, and herbs. The finish is dry, bright and lively with a nice mineral streak. Pair with grilled foods, summer salads, and picnic foods.
Varietals: Cabernet Franc, Gamay, Grolleau
Husband and wife team Damien and Coralie Delecheneau each spent some time in California as winemakers at Clos Pegase and Cain, respectively, before moving back to France. On their 11 hectare property in Touraine, they tend to 60-year-old vines on vineyards free of chemicals and mechanization. In the winery, the Delecheneaus induce fermentation with native yeasts to keep the sense of terroir and use no pumping over so the wines stay fresh and vibrant. “Rosa, Rose, Rosam” is made with a unique blend of Grolleau, Gamay, Malbec and Cabernet Franc yielding a dry and defined rosé.
