A charming medley of Marsanne, Rolle, and Merlot grapes. Grown on a 9-hectare site rich in clay, limestone, and silt, these certified organic and biodynamic vines bear fruit that is harvested under the night sky, locking in freshness and vibrant aromas. With a lively nose of red currants, pomegranate, jasmine, and acacia flowers, this dry rosé unfolds on the palate with a light, refreshing acidity. A delightful companion for light summer fare or a casual gathering with friends, this wine celebrates the allure of the French countryside in every sip.
Chateau Simian Description “A fantastic Cinderella, rags-to-riches story is at the origin of Château Simian. At around 1920, Sophie Simian, having no direct successor, left her vines to a dedicated worker, Marcelle. Marcelle went on to grow the vineyard with her husband, and their daughter married Yves Serguier in 1955, who was already a grower. In 1981 Yves’ son, Jean Pierre took over his family’s estate and realized the dream of four generations of winemakers: the maturing and bottling of wine on his own estate. Today, Château Simian has three generations working side by side: Yves, Jean-Pierre, and his son Florian. The estate owns twenty-five hectares of vineyards, six of them in Chateauneuf du Pape. Certified Biodynamic, and practicing since 2008. The vines haven’t seen herbicide since 1994.” – Jenny & Francois
