Light and citrusy white finished bone-dry. Good minerality and fresh tones of crisp apples and lemon. This wine made of the indigenous white-berried grape called Verdejo, and while common and popular in Spain is still underrepresented in American markets. It is known for making thirst-quenching dry whites.
The farming is certified biodynamic, that is by the principles of Rudolf Steiner’s agricultural philosophy that aims for healthy soils and forbids pesticides, herbicides and artificial fertilizers. Stricter than organics even. The wine is fermented with native yeasts, not fined at all, and has only small degree of sulfites.
