Wild Arc is the original reviver of the ancient Piquette style, a pomace wine made from macerating pressed skins, stems and seeds with water this is an ancient beverage that makes the most of the grape harvest. A slew of varicolored hybrid grape skins from the Hudson Valley’s Amorici Vineyard along with Marquette, Noiret and Riesling skins from other New York vineyard sources. Dry with aromas of red berries, lilac and peppercorns. Wild yeasts, no filtering or fining, very low additions of sulfites being the only thing added.
